To ensure your seafood stays frozen during delivery, your order may include dry ice (solid carbon dioxide). While highly effective for cold storage, dry ice can be dangerous if not handled properly.
Do not touch dry ice with bare hands—direct contact can cause serious cold burns or frostbite. Always use thick protective gloves or tongs when handling. Allow unused dry ice to evaporate in a well-ventilated area, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Important:
-
Never place dry ice in sealed containers—it can cause pressure buildup and potentially explode.
-
Do not dispose of dry ice in sinks, toilets, or drains.
If your package arrives and no dry ice is visible, don’t worry—it may have fully evaporated during transit. This is normal. Please check that your seafood is still cold to the touch. If you have any concerns about the condition of your order, reach out to our customer support team right away.
